The Prishtina International Summer University (PISU) 2026 concluded successfully after a dynamic week of academic, cultural, and social activities that brought together students and academics from different countries and disciplines.

As part of the program, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Prishtina, hosted a lecture entitled "Seismic Resistance of Structures", delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Florim Grajçevci and Assistant Prof. Dr. Zijadin Guri.

The lecture introduced participants to the fundamental principles of earthquake-resistant structural design, the dynamic behavior of reinforced concrete structures, and modern seismic engineering approaches. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, students gained valuable insights into the challenges of designing safe and resilient structures in seismic regions.

Throughout the week, participants enjoyed an enriching experience that combined academic lectures, workshops, cultural events, exhibitions, artistic activities, and social gatherings. This unique blend of education, culture, and international exchange created an inspiring environment for learning, collaboration, and intercultural dialogue.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is proud to have contributed to the success of the Prishtina International Summer University 2026 and extends its sincere appreciation to the organizers, lecturers, and all participating students for making this event a memorable and rewarding experience. We look forward to welcoming future generations of international students to the University of Prishtina.
