The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) will: • allow consideration and subsequent decision-making on the appropriateness of the preconstruction, construction, operation and decommissioning of the proposed DH pipeline project;
identify the main types of potentially significant adverse and beneficial impacts associated with the project that will require further consideration and more detailed assessment during the subsequent ESIA process and to set out the scope for any primary or secondary baseline data requirements and assessment methodologies for determining the significance of those impacts.
