Announcement - Webinar organized at the Faculty of Civil Engineering for the program "DIANA FEA"

DIANA FEA (www.dianafea.com) was established in 2003 as a company by the Computing Mechanics department of the Construction Research Institute in the Netherlands. Based on over 30 years of research and experience, the company offers world-class software products and services in the field of finite element solutions dedicated to civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, and seismic engineering.

DIANA (DIsplacement ANAlyzer) is a comprehensive multi-purpose finite element software package that can be used in a wide range of engineering sectors:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Geotechnical Engineering
  • Tunnel and underground excavations
  • Earthquake engineering

The program includes extensive material models, element libraries and analysis procedures, which are based on the latest and most advanced finite element analysis techniques.

It's unique analysis capabilities are enhanced by it's full modeling capabilities, both in 2D and 3D, and includes tools for CAD / BIM interaction.

DIANA is an approved and well-tested software package that has been used in various historical projects around the world.

Based on the relations established between the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the compiler of the software program DIANA FEA, we have agreed to attend trainings from this program which is a very advanced program in the field of Construction.

The training is organized online, for 20 (twenty) students and 7 (seven) participants from the academic staff of our Faculty. After the completion of the trainings, certificates will be provided for all participants.

The training agenda is as follows:

Module G-1: Getting Started with DIANA (6/12/2021 and 9/12/2021)

Module I-1: Python Scripting & Automation in DIANA (8/12/2021 and 14/12/2021)

Module I-2: Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis in DIANA (10/12/2021 and 14/12/2021)

Module I-3: Reinforced Concrete Analysis in DIANA (13/12/2021 and 16/12/2021)

Module I-4: Thermo-Stress Analysis in DIANA (15/12/2021 and 20/12/2021)
