On April 4, 2024, in the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, a meeting was held between the management and staff of FCE, and representatives of the Vermeer corporation, from Iowa, United States of America, facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Iowa.

The meeting was aimed at opening the channels of communication and cooperation between FCE and Vermeer, and discussions about the potential contribution of the corporation in Kosovo. The corporation aims to bring innovation and state-of-the-art technologies to Kosovo, along with the necessary expertise for the development of Kosovo's workforce. FCE, as a leading institution in Civil Engineering in the country, is ready for cooperation and to create special programs and projects that will help achieve these goals and advance students and young professionals in Kosovo.

The meeting was very successful, and the parties came up with ideas and agreements for further cooperation.
