On January 15, 2024, a cooperation agreement was signed within the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering between the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" (FCE-UP) and the Regional Water Company South Hydroregion (RWC SH) in Prizren. Based on common interests, an agreement has been reached for the purpose of advancing and enhancing professional achievements in higher education, scientific, educational, and academic cooperation between the institutions, as well as opening new possibilities for collaboration for students, academic staff, and administrative staff.

The Regional Water Company South Hydroregion (RWC SH) and the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" (FCE-UP) will collaborate with the aim of enhancing the professional development of students in the Faculty's programs. They will engage in joint efforts to meet inter institutional needs, collaborate on projects in the fields of hydraulic engineering and Environmental Engineering. FCE-UP will make decisions regarding the involvement of students and instructors who will be recruited at the premises of RWC SH for the implementation of practical professional work, as well as in situations related to the specific engineering studies within the Faculty of Civil Engineering. This agreement will also contribute to future research projects that will be developed and conducted by the FCE Institute.

Part of the signing of the agreement involves the Chief Executive Officer of KRU HJ, Fadil Berisha, and the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering
