On January 9, 2023, a cooperation agreement was signed in the facilities of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The agreement was signed with the Directorate of Capital Investments and Contract Management of the Municipality of Prishtina (DCICM of MP). Based on common interests, an agreement has been reached between the Faculty of Civil Engineering - University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina" (FCE-UP) and the Directorate of Capital Investments and Contract Management of the Municipality of Prishtina to advance and elevate professional achievements in higher education, scientific collaboration, educational cooperation, and academia between the institutions, as well as to open new opportunities for collaboration for students, academic staff, and administrate.

The DCICM of MP and FIN-UP will cooperate targeting to enhancing the professional development of students in the Faculty's programs, engaging in joint activities to address institutional demands, and collaborating on projects related to structures, geodesy, hydraulic engineering, and environmental engineering. The FCE will make decisions regarding the engagement of students and instructors who will be recruited by DCICM of MP to carry out practical work for professional internships, as well as in situations of specific needs in the field of civil engineering studies. This agreement will also support the research project funded by UP on the Assessment and Rehabilitation of Housing Buildings in the Ulpiana Neighborhood, in Prishtina.

Part of the signing of the agreement was MSc. Krenar Xhaferi, Director of DCICM of MP, and the Dean of FCE-UP Prof.asst.Dr.Florim Grajcevci.
