The mission of the Faculty of Civil Engineering is based on the Mission of the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina". To fulfill its mission, the Faculty relies on the Statute of UP, other legislative norms and rules acts in force as well as internal regulations.

The mission of the Faculty is education, acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, scientific and professional preparation of cadre in fields of the Civil Engineering for further research and science advancement, and the local as well international labor market.

Faculty of Civil Engineering as an academic unit of UP realize its mission through engagement of Faculty management, academic staff, administration and students by providing facilities and conditions for students to achieve skills according to study programs respecting the rules and principles of the European Education Area.

Achieving the FCE mission is required through:

• Sustained quality increase of the teaching and learning.
• Unceasing update of the offered study programs.
• Advancing in the international level scientific research.
• Laboratory capacity increase for professional scientific fields.
• Quality increase of students services.
• Improving and increasing the capacities of the academic staff and learning facilities.
• Promotion and increase of quality standards for study programs.

The scope of activities of the Faculty, are the Academic activities, teaching, scientific research and other activities, supported on accreditation study programs in the fields of Civil Engineering for study level of Bachelor and Master scientific and professional levels according to the Bologna process.

The internationalization of the Faculty through participation in international projects, mutual cooperation with relevant institutions in research projects, scientific publications in credible journals, international congresses and conferences, the mobility of teachers and students are permanent commitments of the Institution.

The purpose of the Faculty is in line with the mission of the Institution through activities, namely its study programs that seek the highest scientific and professional achievements being a leader in the fields of civil engineering.

The vision of the Faculty as a higher education institution is to perfect its activities in teaching and learning by ensuring the placement of staff who will be prepared to best respond to the demands of trends in scientific and engineering developments.

Following the scientific achievements, developing the fields of civil engineering internationally will be the primary tasks for the academic staff, students and the institution.
