In the Faculty of Civil Engineering, lectures are being held for the module titled "Application of Remote Sensing to Natural Hazards Mapping and Monitoring", by visiting professor Dr. Joanna Jaskula from the Faculty of Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, University of Life Sciences in Poznan, Poland, as well as the Professor of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Prishtina- Prof. Asst. Lavdim Osmanaj, as co-Professor.
Today marks the second day of lectures in this module, with local and international students in attendance.
The main goal of this course is flood, drought and fire analysis and mapping based on open access remote sensing data.
