In the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Leuven in Belgium, a working meeting was held between Prof. Jaak Monbaliu, Head of the Department of Hydrotechnics and Geomatics, and the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Prishtina, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Florim Grajcevci.
The purpose of the visit was to foster interinstitutional collaboration between the two HEIs by elucidating practices and areas of interest.
During the meeting, the activities and academic work of our two institutions were presented, with a particular focus on scientific research, international activities, European projects, and others.
Both institutions have demonstrated a commitment to academic cooperation, student exchanges, international projects, academic training and exchanges, and research projects. The objectives of our proposed collaboration include, but are not limited to:
- International Project, such are the Horizon, Erasmus, etc.
- Bilateral research in fields of civil engineering science,
- Direct interdisciplinary academic organization, conferences, workshops etc.
The scope of our collaboration will encompass civil engineering, including specific activities such as academic programs, research initiatives, student exchanges, international collaborations, etc.
At the end of the meeting, we agreed to enhance our collaboration in the future by directly contacting each other through the respective managements.
